Constipation: Help Move Stagnant Chi

A minimum of one complete, soft bowel movement a day is healthy. If you have fewer bowel movements, then toxins from the stool can be reabsorbed into the bloodstream, causing many other health problems.
Squeeze the juice of a lemon into an 8 oz glass of warm or hot water and drink it first thing in the morning to help stimulate a bowel movement. Citrus peel stimulates chi, the life energy of the body. Practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine believe that building up chi gives the body the strength to have a bowel movement.

Also, increase the intake of vitamin C which will help quieten the inflammation in case of allergic conjunctivitis.

Caffeine Antidote

Your brain will respond to the cardamom as if you were actually drinking coffee, helping to reduce your urge to have another cup of coffee.

Bruised: For Faster Relief

All you need is a kitchen timer and 2 washcloths. Soak one washcloth in hot water (not so hot that it burns your skin), and soak the other in very cold water. Wring out both washcloths, then put hot one on bruise for 3 minutes and then apply the cold washcloth for 30 seconds. Repeat this process 4 times, re soaking every time to keep them maximally hot and cold.
The hot water brings blood to the area, and the cold water takes it away. This pumping action brings fresh nutrients to the bruise and removes waste products, the perfect combo for faster healing.
