Cold Weather Cholesterol


Did you know that blood contains less water in winter, and slightly concentrated cholesterol. This means your total cholesterol reading could be a bit higher in winter than in summer.
Cold weather readings could lead to a misdiagnosis of high cholesterol. So, get several checks, make sure that at least one is in the spring or fall, when levels are at a midpoint.
