Vitamin C of Bell Peppers


One cup of fresh bell peppers supplies even more vitamin C than 1 cup of fresh orange juice. For maximinzing the benefits of vitamin C, eat uncooked peppers, since this vitamin is easily destroyed by heat.
A study in California found that women who consumed large quantities of bell peppers, had the lowest incidence of a type of brain tumor called glioma.
