Magnesium Deficiency

  • In order to get your reference daily intake of magnesium, you would have to eat about 5 ounces of almonds every day.
  • If you don't get enough magnesium, you may experience loss of appetite, nausea, and fatigue.
  • If the deficiency worsens, patients may develop muscle weakness, muscle twitches, irregular heartbeat, leg cramps, insomnia, and eye twitches.
  • Symptoms of deficiency also include constipation, headache, personality changes, and coronary spasms, which cause chest pains.
  • Magnesium is a building block of your health.
