Sugar May Sweeten Your Memory

A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. But research shows it may do even more - it may help you remember to take your medicines.
In one study, participants fasted overnight. Then, in the morning, they drank lemonade that had been sweetened either with sugar or a sugar substitute. Those who got the lemonade with sugar performed much better at a memory test than those who got the artificial sweetner.
Treating yourself to a sweet snack each day won't hurt as long as you don't go overboard. and it may give your brain the little boost it needs to bremember where you left your keys.
