Catnip


"Catnip" is a perennial herb of the mint family.
Catnip contains a substance, known as nepetalactone, which has a sedative effect in humans. Due to this effect, catnip may also be used to help lessen migraine headaches. Catnip calms the nerves, soothes digestion and lowers a fever without raising it first. Can be successfully used to calm gastric and duodenal ulcers, increase milk flow, and ease stress.

Feeling Stressed Out?

Caught in the middle of rush hour and feeling stressed out? Try a quick breathing exercise. Put one hand on your stomach, then inhale slowly and deeply while counting from one to four. Exhale as you count backward from four to one. This mini meditation reduces stress, blood pressure, and heart rate.

Sip Your Anxiety Away!



Brew a soothing cup of chamomile tea by steeping two or three teaspoons of dried blossoms in a cup of water. Then sit back and sip your anxiety away.
