Heartburn
For occassional heartburn, caused by overeating, don't reach for antacids. Instead, chew a stick of gum for about half an hour. That burning sensation you get is caused by stomach acid leaking into your esophagus. Chewing gum gets your saliva flowing and helps wash the acid away naturally.
