Employ Glycolic Acid
Pat your face dry completely, then apply gel, cream, or lotion containing 8% glycolic acid over you entire face. They prevent the clogged pores characteristic of acne by preventing older cells from piling up on the skin and blocking pores. It also leaves the skin soft and smooth and may decrease discolorations and fine wrinkles.

Lighten Age Spots
A mixture of honey and yogurt creates a natural bleach that can help lighten age spots. Take 1 tsp of plain yogurt, add 1 tsp of honey and mix thoroughly. Apply the mixture and let it dry, then wash it off after 30 minutes. Do this once a day and feel the difference.

Green Tip
Avoid using peppermint, balm mint, wintergreen, or any other "minty" ingredients that smell and feel refreshing but can burn and sting. These extracts are better for deodorizing your feet than combating pimples!

Puffy Eyes?
Pour ice cold milk onto two cotton pads and place them on your eyes for 10 minutes. In no time, the swelling will go down.
Tea bags do wonders too! After you make your morning tea, squeeze out the liquid, refrigerate them for 10 to 15 minutes and place them on your closed eyes for 10 minutes.

Wash Your Hands
Always wash your hands before you remove makeup or nourish your skin. Otherwise, each time you dip your fingers you are mixing germs and dirt right into your skin creams and consequently transferring those germs directly to your skin's surface.
Skin Tonic
As we age, alcohol in skin tonic becomes too drying for skin. You can instead use rosewater, it smells delicious and is very gentle, so it suits even the driest complexions.

Lip Injury
If you have had an injury to the lip, the small blood vessels in the injured areas can dilate and cause the blue bulges. Your doctor can fix these by making a little nick in the lip and either frying the blood vessel or fishing it out and tying it off.
Protect Your Lips
You should also protect your lips with sunblock. If they get damaged by sun, they are liable to develop lip cancer, especially on the lower lip. That's where we get more sun exposure.
Vaseline!
Don't put vaseline on your lips. Vaseline is made from the goop that comes from oil wells (petroleum jell?). It is something you don't want close to your mouth as you will ingest little bit each day. Instead use Burt's Bees lip balm to moisten your dry lips.

Plain Old Egg Whites
Plain old egg whites are an alternative to expensive facial masks. Just apply the whites to your face with a makeup brush. As the egg whites dry, your skin will tighten up, including the saggy area under your eyes.

Sweat as mini-facial
Working up a good sweat is the equivalent of getting a mini-facial. When the pores dilate, sweat expels trapped dirt and oil. Just be sure to wash your face afterwards so the gunk doesn't get sucked back into the pores.
Breaking into a sweat is not the only one way exercise benefits the skin - it also reduces bodywise inflammation, helps regulate skin-significant hormones and prevent free radical damage.

Honey for Hair Shine
Massage 5 tbsps of honey into your hair. Wash after 20 mins.
OR
Wash with a cupful of cider vinegar in a liter of warm water. Wrap a towel around the head and leave for an hour before rinsing.
I usually end up with the 1st option as it is easy. Make sure you have your hair bath before you do this. I usually have my hair bath the previous day and take honey and just apply on my hair and leave it for 20 to 30 mins. Then just wash it off and no applying any shampoo on it. Make sure you wash it off nicely. It gives the hair a lot of shine.
