Your Eyes Can Predict Disease

Your eyes are a unique window into health. Yahoo Health has assembled a list of 14 things your eyes can tell you about your entire body. Here are some of them:
Disappearing eyebrows
When the outer third of your eyebrow starts to disappear on its own, this is a common sign of thyroid disease.
A stye that won't go away
If it doesn't clear up in three months, or keeps recurring in the same location, it could be a rare cancer called sebaceous gland carcinoma.
Burning eyes, blurry vision while using a computer
This is the result of "computer vision syndrome" (CVS). The eyestrain is partly caused by the lack of contrast on a computer screen, and the extra work involved in focusing on pixels.
A small blind spot in your vision, with shimmering lights or a wavy line
A migraine aura produces this disturbed vision. It may or may not be accompanied by a headache.
Whites of the eye turned yellowish
This is known as jaundice. It appears in either newborns with immature liver function, or adults with problems of the liver, gallbladder, or bile ducts.
Eyes that seem to bulge
The most common cause of protruding eyes is hyperthyroidism, which is overactivity of the thyroid gland.
Sudden double vision, dim vision, or loss of vision
These are the visual warning signs of stroke.
Blurred vision in a diabetic
Diabetics are at increased risk for several eye problems, but the most common is diabetic retinopathy, in which diabetes affects the circulatory system of the eye. It's the leading cause of blindness in American adults.

Eat Your Fruits The Right Way

We all think eating fruit means just buying fruit, cutting it up and popping it into our mouths. It's not that easy. It's important to know how and  when  to eat fruit.
What's the correct way to eat fruit?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUIT AFTER A MEAL! FRUIT SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY  STOMACH.

Eating fruit like that plays a major role in detoxifying your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities..
FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread, then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it's prevented from doing so.

In the meantime, the whole meal rots and ferments, and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach, and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

Eat your fruit on an  empty stomach,  or before your meal! You've heard people complain: Every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc. This will not happen if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. Fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas. Hence, you bloat!

Depressed - Eat More Sweet Peppers

Depression is one of the first symptoms of a Vitamin C deficiency. You can keep up your C level by eating plenty of sweet peppers. Both red and green peppers are loaded with vitamin C. Red pepper have more vitamin C than about anything else you can eat. Your brain needs vitamin C to produce serotonin, a chemical that makes you feel good and help you sleep. Without enough serotonin, you may feel tired and sluggish. Lack of iron can also make you feel the same way, and vitamin C also helps you absorb iron better.

Choose The Right Oil

When you buy oil, you want to keep your essential fatty acids in balance. Canola oil has more omega-3 fatty acids than other oils. Corn, soybean, sunflower, and safflower oils have more omega-6 fatty acids.

Your Pizza also has a Protective Pigment

Study shows that men who ate more pizza had less prostate cancer. The protective factor in pizza may be a pigment in tomatoes called lycopene, which blocks the free radicals, strengthens the immune system, and may help regulate cancer genes.
Cofounder of Helios Health Center in Boulder, Colorado, prescribes a teaspoon a day of tomato paste for his patients with prostate cancer. Lycopene has more potent antioxidant properties than beta-carotene, and it has anti-cancer properties too.

Constipation: Help Move Stagnant Chi

A minimum of one complete, soft bowel movement a day is healthy. If you have fewer bowel movements, then toxins from the stool can be reabsorbed into the bloodstream, causing many other health problems.
Squeeze the juice of a lemon into an 8 oz glass of warm or hot water and drink it first thing in the morning to help stimulate a bowel movement. Citrus peel stimulates chi, the life energy of the body. Practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine believe that building up chi gives the body the strength to have a bowel movement.

Healing Conjunctivitis

You can use a chamomile tea bag as a compress to reduce the inflammation of conjunctivitis (an inflammation of the mucous membrane conjunctiva, that lines the inner eyelid and eyeball). Put chamomile tea bag in warm water for 2 to 3 minutes, squeeze out the excess liquid, and then place the tea bag over your inflamed eye for 2 to 3 minutes. Use this three to four times a day.

Also, increase the intake of vitamin C which will help quieten the inflammation in case of allergic conjunctivitis.

Coconut Water can be used in Blood Transfusion

Coconut water is the liquid from unripe coconuts. If coconuts get ripe, the liquid inside will harden and become a part of the white flesh of the coconut. So, picking the coconut while it is unripe will ensure that the body gets all the benefits of coconut water.
Coconut water is same as human blood plasma. Plasma makes up to 55% of human blood. By drinking coconut water, we give ourselves an instant blood transfusion. Drink at least 1 a day.

Caffeine Antidote

In Ayurvedic medicine, the antidote to caffeine is the spice cardamom. To stop the craving for coffee during the withdrawal period, simply suck on cardamom seeds, just as you would suck on lozenges, all day long. Your brain will respond to the cardamom as if you were actually drinking coffee, helping to reduce your urge to have another cup of coffee.

Bruised: For Faster Relief

All you need is a kitchen timer and 2 washcloths. Soak one washcloth in hot water (not so hot that it burns your skin), and soak the other in very cold water. Wring out both washcloths, then put hot one on bruise for 3 minutes and then apply the cold washcloth for 30 seconds. Repeat this process 4 times, re soaking every time to keep them maximally hot and cold.
The hot water brings blood to the area, and the cold water takes it away. This pumping action brings fresh nutrients to the bruise and removes waste products, the perfect combo for faster healing.
